The Greater Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, incorporated in 1973 as a non-profit membership organization, is made up of large and small businesses, in and around Lincolnshire, Illinois, who want to increase their success using Chamber activities and services.

Lincolnshire is one of the most exciting communities on Chicago's North Shore , where commercial and residential development are transforming the area to a thriving, upscale destination. Convenient access to retail stores, restaurants and entertainment venues make Lincolnshire a favorite with residents, visitors and local employees.

Lincolnshire Celebrates being 50!!!

In the small world that we live in, the "other" Lincolnshire Chamber nestles within a village with winding roads, and luxurious homes. The community was planned around its mature treesgiving it a distinct rural charm.

In 1954-55, Ladd Enterprises started building houses in an unincorporated area north of Chicago, Illinois, and new home owners started moving into the homes in 1955. In 1957, residents of Ladd's Lincolnshire Subdivision voted 5 to 1 to incorporate as Lake County's 28th municipality. Of the 91 votes cast during a special election, returns indicated that 76 people favored incorporation with 16 opposing it, and Lincolnshire was incorporated on August 5, 1957.
